Questions about Aaron's Acne Cure

We frequently receive questions from acne sufferers about the best way to get rid of acne. Recently our editors received a question about Aarons Acne Cure.

Question: What exactly do you mean when you say you did the enema and what is the castor oil used for?

Answer: If you read the Acne Free in 3 days Ebook, it mentions that you are supposed to do an enema every night of the 3 day fast. This was the part of the 3-day apple fast that kept me from doing it months earlier. It just sounded gross.

After trying many other products and going to a dermatologist, I decided that I needed to do the 3 day apple fast- including the enema in that Ebook.

So, I did the enema each night of the 3 day apple fast. I actually did the 3 day apple fast 3 separate times (about 1 month apart) and did the enema every time. The enema helps clean your body of toxins that contribute to acne. It is a very necessary step of the apple fast. And it is not as bad as you would expect it to be.

I used the castor oil each night before going to bed--after doing a 20 minute steam on my face. I just heated up water in a bowl, wrapped a dry towel around my face and steamed my face. The castor oil is supposed to go on after the steam since this is when the pores are open.

But if you are going to really make an effort to get rid of your acne, it is imperative that you read the entire Ebook Acne Free in 3 Days and follow all the directions. We have mentioned some of the basic steps involved in the 3 day apple fast, but there are many other things that you need to do during the fast for your cure to work.

Maintaining clear skin after curing acne

When you first start with getting rid of your acne, you may go through many products and dermatologists before you end up with a solution that works for your acne.

If you are like most acne sufferers, you will probably have a whole drawer full of acne products that didn't work. I really think that we should somehow recycle all of those products. Maybe somehow send those off to the next person for trial and error.

Small problems with acne can usually be fixed with over the counter products. Moderate to severe acne usually requires prescription medication or more aggressive treatments. If you don't make some major changes, you will have issues getting rid of acne.\

In AaronsAcne.com, Aaron describes how he took on his severe cystic acne and completely cured it using natural methods. Yes you read that right, no dermatologist office visits, no prescription medication or over the counter acne products, just all plain natural stuff. The biggest factor in getting rid of his severe acne was a diet change. You are what you eat is not just an expression.

Acne is caused by bacteria and sugar feeds bacteria. So if your diet consists of a lot of sugar, you are literally feeding your acne so it can stay around longer. If you want more info on what Aaron has done and the changes he has made, check out is 6 step process for yourself at Aarons Acne Cure

Acne cure that worked for teen with serious acne

Every time I watch one of those diet commercials that have before and after photos, I always think that somehow someone doctored up some photos or even took photos of two different people to show.

But, when I see the photos at a site that claims there is a cure for acne, http://www.aaronsacne.com/, I can visibly see that the photos are definitely taken of the same person and the acne is definitely gone after the cure.

I encourage you to check out the site on your own and try out the cure that worked for Aaron. This cure is not simple and does not happen overnight (as many over-the-counter acne treatments claim) It took time, patience and about 8 months to get rid of a very bad, cystic acne that was getting worse by the day.

The cure is spelled out in 6 steps and the whole process cost Aaron around $50 or so. He didn't need any expensive prescriptions from a dermatologist or any over-the-counter acne products or 3-step products. The cure is completely natural and involves making changes that effect the underlying cause of acne.

Don't take my word for it, see the photos. http://www.aaronsacne.com/

Over the counter acne medications

There are so many different over the counter acne medications available today. Various creams, gels, ointments and 3-step programs pack the aisles at your local drugstore.

If you have just started to get acne, you may experience some success with over the counter medications. If your acne is persistant or more severe, you may not see any success with the drugstore medications.

Persistant acne sometimes requires drastic action, perhaps a diet and lifestyle change. There are some prescription medications that do work with acne, but you will need to see a dermatologist to get the prescription. Sometimes derms have a serious waiting time to get an appointment for the first visit.

The natural method, involving a diet and lifestyle change is absolutely possible and Aaron, from www.aaronsacne.com will show you exactly how he did it. He tackled a serious cystic acne problem with a diet change and is almost completely acne free today--about 6 months later. Stay tuned for his 6 step process to a natural acne treatment.

Diet and Acne

Diet is an integral part of your health. Your body fuels on what you put in it. Just like a car, if you put the wrong fuel in, the car will break down or simply not work right.

Acne can be linked directly to a diet packed full of sugar. Sometimes you may not even realize the amount of sugar you intake every day. If you start reading all the labels on the foods you eat, you will be greatly surprised.

So, if you want to get rid of your acne, the first step that you can take is to reduce the amount of sugar in your diet. This approach will also help you to lose weight--in case you have a dual goal.

Trying out skin peel product

We are about to try out a new product that is supposed to remove acne scars. Supposedly it will take 6 days for the product to work.

There are also other 3 step acne treatment products that we are experimenting with and we will update you on the results after using them for several weeks if not months.

Resistant Acne

When do you know that you have resistant acne? Probably a tip off is that no acne products work.

Many dermatologists skip all the typical products and treatment for acne and go right to prescribing Accutane for their patients.

Until you get to the root cause of acne, treating the symptoms seems quite useless. Just like Accutane, as soon as you stop using the product or any other product, the acne just comes right back. And it usually comes back much worse than before.

Some researchers have concluded that it is the abundance of yeast in the body that is at the root cause of acne. Maybe teen agers, who are more susceptible to breakouts, have an overabundance of yeast in their body--could be related to all the hormone changes etc.

If you take anti-biotics for your acne, you will be killing the yeast/bacteria, but you will also be killing all the good bacteria in the body.

So, if drugs don't really cure acne, perhaps a complete change in diet along with some key supplements will help in the long run.

Still trying acne treatments?

Acne treatments

After several months of trying various home remedies for acne, I have decided to try out the Clinique method. This is a 3 step program---very similar to many other popular treatments on the market today.

The first step is a foaming cleanser. The second step is a cream that you apply and the third step is the acne treatment cream.

The products can only be purchased from a department store, hence the high price.

I will post in several weeks as to the status of this treatment. Will it work? Or will it be just like all the other treatments I have tried?

Stay Tuned.

Acne products at the drugstore

Drugstore Dilemmas

Every time I go down the acne products aisle at the drugstore, I am drawn by all the wild claims on each of the products. This is in addition to remembering advertisements for the various products in all the magazines.

I can recall quotes from satisfied consumers and the product company--for example, "my acne disappeared in 1 day" or "Drastic improvements in 1 day only"

I know for a fact that most of these products will not work or even come close to making true their claims. I have a bathroom full of these products, along with empty pockets from paying anywhere from $10-50 per product.

So where does that leave the consumer? Have you ever returned a product that didn't live up to the claims and guarantees? Probably not very many people actually return products. The companies probably count on most people not returning product.

So, stay tuned until we find the cure-all product for acne. We'll be walking advertisements for it.

Natural Acne Treatments

Treating Acne

Acne is a very troublesome issue that many teens have to deal with. If you do a little bit of research on acne you will discover that there are many different causes and triggers for acne. Research is ongoing and nothing is for certain, but a little bit of information can go a long way to help clear up acne.

The natural method involves many inexpensive over-the-counter products. Here is a list of several that are recommend. This info is use at your own risk. Always consult with your medical doctor before undertaking any new treatment method.

1. Tea Tree Oil. Make a mixture of 1 part tree tree oil to 10 parts water (you can experiment with the solution to get the right mix) and apply the solution to your acne 3 times a day. This mixture seems to do the same thing as many over the counter acne creams, except it doesn't dry the skin as much.

2. The castor oil method. Some dermatologists recommend this method. At night, heat up a medium size bowl of water and exposed your face to the steam for 10 minutes. Then apply castor oil to your acne before bed.

3. Taking supplements. Some acne research indicates that the cause of acne is a bacteria or yeast. Taking a garlic tablet and an acidopylus (sp?") supplement can help to cause the bacteria that may be causing acne.

Of course, results will vary with the natural treatments. Some people have results with the over the counter acne creams and ointments and some people have had results with the natural treatments.

The rule is, if what you are doing works to reduce or eliminate acne, then keep doing it!

Using tea tree for acne

Natural treatment for acne

After reading much about the advantages of tea tree oil, I decided to try it out on my son's acne. I put together a mixture of 1 part tea tree oil to 4 parts water (about).

My son has been applying it to his acne every day and it seems to be doing the trick. The stuff really smells bad--it smells like it would kill insecfts---but it supposedly kills the bacteria that actually causes acne.

There are some people that will have a reaction to the tea tree oil, so you you may want to do just a small amount at first to see if your skin reacts.

Tea tree oil is available at any local drugstore and the great thing about it is that it costs less than $5. That is even cheaper than the least expensive acne cream.

Try it out for yourself and see if it works!
